Kann ausschließlich Gutes berichten, von der anreise hin bis zum Tag der OP in der Klinik. Ich kann’s jedem nur herzlichst empfehlen! Von sehr sehr freundlichem Personal bis hin zum Verfahren mit wenig Schmerzen.
Man hat immer jemanden an der Seite der übersetzen kann, somit fühlt man sich auch nicht unwohl. Alle Fragen werden beantwortet. Und die Operation an sich war erstaunlicherweise schneller als ich erwartet hatte, vor drei Jahren war ich bei Elithair und wurde 7-8 Stunden operiert und hier keine 4 Stunden, bin auch jetzt nach guten 10 Tagen ziemlich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis
Man kriegt genaue Anweisungen was man zu beachten hat, und wird nach der Behandlung sehr zufrieden sein.
Man braucht auch keine Angst zu haben und hat auch das Gefühl das die Leute ganz genau wissen was sie tun müssen. Riesen Lob an das Personal.

I first got in touch with Aysenur Karaman, who answered all my questions patiently and provided me with detailed and accurate information. She helped me with everything she could, and I felt truly supported throughout the whole process.

After our discussions, I planned my hair transplant for the end of September and flew from Hungary. Upon arrival, a private transfer (a 7-seater Mercedes) was waiting for me and took me directly to the hotel arranged by the clinic. The hotel was perfect in every way — comfortable and exactly what I needed.

The next day, I was picked up and taken to the clinic, where I was warmly welcomed. I was accompanied by Alph, a very kind and calm translator who explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease before and during the procedure. His presence was truly reassuring.

I had my hair transplant done at Hermest Hair Clinic, and overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience and the results so far. Although it’s still early to see the final thickness, I can already notice good progress.

The team was very professional throughout the entire process — from the clear communication and detailed explanations to the smooth pickup from the hotel. The procedure itself was painless, and I didn’t experience any pain afterward either, even though I was provided with medication just in case. The only slightly uncomfortable part was the anesthesia, but that’s to be expected and was handled well.

If I were to suggest one area for improvement, it would be for the medical team in the operation room to speak a bit more English during the procedure. Even though there was a translator who spoke fluent English and helped a lot, it can still feel a little uncomfortable during such a long (around 8-hour) procedure when you don’t understand the conversations around you.

Other than that, everything was well-organized, professional, and reassuring. I would definitely recommend Hermest Hair Clinic to others considering a hair transplant.

After a lot of research I decided on the Hermest clinic because of the very high patient satisfaction.
The operation is now about two weeks ago and so far I am very satisfied, it was a smooth experience from the start.
It begins with correspondence via WhatsApp for your assessment, to set up the appointment and any questions you might have. The responses by Elif were always swift and helpful, extra wishes like an extra night at the hotel were also no problem.
At the clinic there is always your translator to answer all your questions.
Before the operation, my surgeon and the clinic chief, Dr Murat, took time and care to plot my future hairline. A natural looking result is their priority, and after two weeks I see the great work by my surgeon.
The operation itself takes several hours, everything that will happen is explained to you and they make it as comfortable as possible. I even fell asleep during the procedure.
The next day you will be instructed how to wash your hair and what to look for.
Currently, I am in aftercare and it will still be many months until you can see real results. But the aftercare (with Alp via WhatsApp) is excellent. Every question is answered and you are well taken care of.

Had my DHI hair transplant with 3400 grafts done for the frontal area a few months back. The whole experience went smoothly from the operation day to aftercare. The first few weeks were all about patience, but now I’m starting to see new hairs coming in, and it feels great.

It was a nice experience. I hat my doubts and Ferrari in the beginning to find a good clinic. I was really fast overwhelmed from the good Service. From personal phonecalls and writing on WhatsApp to the hotel and the Transplantation, it was alwqys very easy and well structured. DHI procedure done on 27.09.2025. Everything from pre-procedure planning to operation to after care support was perfect. I am of course still waiting for my final results but until now I am extremely happy with how everything went and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again with Hermest. All staff is super friendly and professional.
The only thing you need to be aware of when doing the „no- shave“ procedure is that in fact a large area of your head will need to be shaved off anyways as required for the donor area - this was a little surprise for me. But again, super happy with the end to end experience and service!

Ablauf/Organisation/OP etc. macht Hermest Hair Clinic einen fantastischen Job. Keine riesen Show sondern alles Leute die hinter jedem Kunden stehen und ihr Handwerk auch visuell-sichtbar professionell verstehen und umsetzen.

Hermest Clinic personnel are highly competent, efficient, warm and welcoming. The whole experience was 5 star and, most importantly, they delivered and got me great results.

I can only recommend the Hermest Clinic in Istanbul. I had two sessions at the clinic during early 2024 and early 2025.
I arranged both sessions personally with the Hermest representative. The initial assessment process was very quick and straightforward: After an inquiry, I was promptly asked for detailed pictures of the sculp and we arranged a call to go through the details. Sapphire FUE was chosen and only the crown area for the first session. Then hotel is arranged by the clinic and you book the flights.

During the 2024 session, I had approx. 4500 grafts transplanted to the crown area. The process was very professional and there was always someone I could talk to in English and I was explained how the session will go. It was not painless, but perfectly tolerable. The staff took very good care of me.

Then after one year I had the second session when approx. 5000 grafts were transplanted to the front area. Everything was very similar to the first session, no issues whatsoever. I also wanted to thank to Umut (+ Utzku from the first session) and also the entire team for staying so late that day.:)

Regarding the most important aspect of these two treatments - the recovery and results:
It is important to follow the recommendations and advices, i.e. sleep in the upright position the next days/week, no alcohol, good sculp care.
I had no medical issues (bleeding, swollen areas, excessive redness) - all was as cautiously advertised.
I tried to be patient with the hair growth. It simply takes time before you start looking "normal". But after few months there was already some growth, albeit slow.

Now, after 8 months after the second treatment I can say it was really worth it. Both crown and frontal areas have plenty of new naturally looking hair.

The clinic is reputable, they do very good job for a fair and competitive price. All the best!

The hotel provided was an older five-star hotel, but still comfortable. There was a shuttle service every day between the hotel and the clinic, which was very convenient, and the breakfast was also quite good.

Die anfängliche Kommunikation mit Bahar erfolgte problemlos, ohne Druck und sehr offen. Mir wurde von Anfang an ehrlich mitgeteilt, dass bei mir zwei Sitzungen notwendig sein werden.
Da die gesamte Buchung und Organisation über die Klinik erfolgt und ich nur die Flüge selbst buchen musste, war alles sehr entspannt.
In Istanbul angekommen wird man direkt am Flughafen abgeholt und ins Hotel gefahren. In meinem Fall war es ein wirklich luxuriöses Hotel mit tollem Zimmer und super Aussicht.
Am nächsten Morgen erfolgt dann der Transport in die Klinik, wo nach ausführlichen Gesprächen mit der Prozedur angefangen wird. Die für mich zuständige Dolmetscherin hat einen super Job gemacht!
Bis auf die Spritzen und das lange Liegen ist der Eingriff akzeptabel. Man wird oft gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und man Schmerzen hat.
Nachdem es nach der Operation sogar etwas zu essen gibt und ein abschließendes Gespräch stattgefunden hat, geht es zurück ins Hotel.
Die erste Nacht war für mich recht unangenehm, aber der menschliche Körper gewöhnt sich auf Dauer an alles.
Das Waschen am Tag danach war zwar unangenehm, aber auszuhalten und auch befreiend. Anschließend geht es schon zurück zum Flughafen.
Ich habe zwar noch lange keine Einblicke über das Ergebnis, jedoch bin ich mit dem Ablauf und auch mit der Kommunikation mit Yeliz nach dem Eingriff sehr zufrieden.
Insbesondere, dass eine Dolmetscherin vor Ort war, die Kommunikation und der Ablauf reibungslos verliefen & kein Gefühl von "Fließband Abfertigung" entsteht, haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Ehrlichkeit hat mir sehr zugesprochen.

At the clinic i was always with the translator, he helped me to understand everything that was happening at every step, as for the operation team, they worked smoothly, felt nothing in matters of pain, and it worked out to be really great. Also im großen und ganzen bin ich zufrieden.
Die Linie ist super, meine Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und die Behandlung verlief auch gut.
Die Ärztin hat wirklich einen super Job gemacht.
Wie das Endergebnis am Ende aussehen wird, dass kann ich noch nicht sagen.

Was mir nicht gefallen hat, sind die Betäubungspritzen.
Die wurden so extrem schmerzhaft gesetzt, dass es kaum auszuhalten war und ich bin schmerzen gewohnt.

Wenn nicht die Problematik mit den Spritzen wäre, dann würde ich eine 100% Empfehlung geben, aber so eher irgendwo zwischen 80% und 90%.

Wieso das ganze, naja ich habe viele getroffen die das haben auch machen lassen und die haben die Betäubungsspritzen nicht mal gemerkt.

Why I Chose Hermest

I first heard about Hermest through a close relative who had their transplant there. After doing my own research, I found that Hermest is a well-established, government-approved clinic with consistently strong reviews.

I reached out via WhatsApp and spoke with Buket, who explained the process and package options in detail. Initially, she suggested Sapphire FUE rather than DHI due to the number of grafts I would need, but she also shared that Hermest’s patented Unique FUE method has the highest reported success rate (99%).

I ultimately chose the Unique FUE Premium Package, which included stem cell therapy and a 3-night stay. The package cost around $1,200–$1,400 more than Sapphire FUE, but since I was traveling all the way from NYC, I didn’t want to risk regretting my choice.

Buket was amazing throughout — always available, patient with my questions, and supportive in arranging everything except my flight. For context, I also consulted with other clinics (like Serkan Aygin), but I felt more like a number there. With Hermest, I felt truly cared for as a patient. (Fun fact: even when I asked ChatGPT to suggest top clinics in Istanbul, Hermest came up in the top 5.)

The Day of the Procedure

Since I chose the premium package, I went in the day before for stem cell therapy — a quick 30-minute procedure. To be honest, I’m not sure I’d do it again, since that area felt extra sensitive on surgery day.

On the procedure day, I was greeted by Nilufer, who managed my operation. Dr. Ahmet was present, but Nilufer was in charge. She advised that I might need a second session due to the size of the area to be covered, and she designed my hairline. I asked for a slightly lower hairline, but she explained why it wouldn’t look natural and recommended the best option — I appreciated her honesty.

The team extracted follicles for about three hours, and the results were better than expected: many of my follicles contained double or triple hairs, which meant strong density in the transplanted area. Nilufer then performed the channel opening, punching 4,400 holes with impressive precision. After the team transplanted the grafts, she did a final check and made small adjustments.

The next day, I was taken back for my first wash and then dropped off at the airport.

Post-Procedure Support & Kit

My aftercare coordinator is Yanur, who has been fantastic. She replies to questions within 12 hours and checks in every few days to see how I’m doing. That level of care makes a huge difference, especially for a first-time patient like me.

Hermest also provided a post-transplant care kit, which included a special shampoo, HairMD foam spray, a neck pillow, and detailed instructions on how to wash and care for the transplanted area. This kit made the recovery process much easier and gave me peace of mind that I was following the right routine.

I especially liked the HairMD foam spray. Even though the instructions were to use it only until the scabs came off, I kept using it because it really helped with itching. I even ordered another bottle from Amazon to continue using it.

Recovery has been smooth overall. The hardest part was sleeping at a 45° angle for the first week, but once I could sleep on my side, it became much easier. By the end of week one, it looked like I had just shaved my head — no visible scars, thanks to the ultra-fine blade used in the Unique FUE technique.

Final Thoughts (2 Weeks Post-Op)

It’s been just over two weeks, and everything looks great so far. The clinic lived up to its promises, and I’m very happy with the experience. Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the long-term results — but based on everything so far, I’m confident I made the right choice.
