Insgesamt verlief meine Haartransplantation sehr positiv. Im Folgenden mein Eindruck zu den einzelnen Aspekten:

Kontakt

Der Erstkontakt war sehr freundlich, und ich wurde kompetent beraten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass die Klinik multilingual aufgestellt ist – die Kommunikation war daher problemlos.

Transfer und Aufenthalt

Auch der Transfer und Aufenthalt verliefen reibungslos.
Die Klinik organisierte den Transport vom Flughafen zum Hotel und zur Klinik sowie die Hotelbuchung. Alles war gut koordiniert und sorgte für eine stressfreie Anreise.

Operation

In der Klinik waren alle Mitarbeitenden sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Die Operation selbst verlief – soweit ich das beurteilen kann – problemlos und nahezu schmerzfrei.
Einzelne Betäubungsspritzen waren, abhängig vom persönlichen Schmerzempfinden, leicht spürbar – selbst nach der Anwendung einer oberflächlichen Betäubung (ohne Nadel). Den eigentlichen Eingriff spürt man jedoch überhaupt nicht.

Nachsorge

Die Nachsorge ist bisher ebenfalls sehr positiv.
Die Klinik meldet sich regelmäßig, erkundigt sich nach dem Heilungsverlauf und gibt Feedback zum aktuellen Stand.

Fazit

Auch wenn es noch zu früh ist, um das endgültige Ergebnis zu bewerten, war die gesamte Erfahrung bislang sehr positiv. Ich habe mich jederzeit gut betreut gefühlt.
(PS: Da sich einige über die zusätzlich zu erwerbenden Nahrungsergänzungsmittel negativ äußern bzw. als Abzocke sehen, so sind diese Optional und nicht Pflicht)

Bin begeistert. Die Übersetzung und Operation lief wunderbar. Endlich bekomme ich wieder volles Haar. Sogar am Folgetag wurden nochmal die Crafts nachgebessert. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Perfect experience as someone travelling from the UK from the moment you land to the moment you leave. They sort out pretty much everything for you and keep you updated each step of the way. I had a positive experience with Hermest Clinic for my hair transplant. After finding them through Reddit research on Turkish clinics, I contacted them via WhatsApp and received a graft estimate (around 3000) and a quote. While I booked my own accommodation due to an extended trip, the clinic was easily accessible by taxi. The 5-6 hour procedure was manageable, with the local anesthesia being the most uncomfortable part. Now, five months post-transplant, I'm seeing a noticeable improvement in hair growth. Although I hoped for potentially more grafts for even denser results, I am overall satisfied with the outcome. I will definitely recommend.

From my initial contact with Zera at Hermest in April 2024 through the procedure (October 24, 2024) and post-procedure communication, Hermest has been very responsive to my communications and has given me clear feedback to all of my questions. During the initial discussions, I provided a long list of questions to Zera at Hermest and she always responded timely and we also had verbal communications to better review and go over details of the procedure. The hotel where Hermest had me stay was very nice and comfortable, and it was immediately clear that I was not alone as there were a number of other guests with signs of recently have transplants. The day of the procedure went very well. The staff was welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was assigned an interpreter and it helped tremendously commenting before and after the procedure. The office and medical teams were very professional and focused on the work. Okay, they talked and laughed a lot which was good as it meant they enjoyed what they do. It’s not an easy or pain free procedure. The teams made me as comfortable ad possible. I would definitely recommend Hermest to any potential client.Post-procedure, Hermest assigned a point of contact (Yanur) for post-procedure communication. He has been responsive as well and provided regular/monthly guidance as well on various questions and check on progress of my hair growth. Hermest is having me wait at least 10 months until they can determine if I'm a candidate for phase 2 (top of my scalp). I wish that I could know sooner, but process is process. Overall, I had a very positive experience and do highly recommend Hermest to other individuals considering hair transplantation in Istanbul. On top of this, Istanbul is an amazing city. I highly recommend planning several days of touring before your procedure. You won't regret it.

Ich hatte meine Haartransplantation im Oktober 2024 und war von Anfang an sehr zufrieden – von der Planung bis hin zur gesamten Organisation lief alles reibungslos. Auch die Unterstützung durch die Dolmetscherin war perfekt und hat den Ablauf zusätzlich erleichtert.

Bei mir wurde die DHI-Methode angewendet und ich bin im Nachhinein sehr froh darüber, denn dadurch mussten nur die Haare im Spenderbereich rasiert werden.

Die Heilung ist sehr gut verlaufen und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis nach 5 Monaten sehr zufrieden. Das Haar ist bereits deutlich gewachsen und wird immer voller.

Besonders bedanken möchte ich mich bei Nulum für die tolle Nachbetreuung. Ich konnte jederzeit Fragen stellen und habe immer schnell kompetente Antworten erhalten. Ich habe mich durchgehend sehr gut betreut gefühlt.

How it went:
First, I was in contact with Hermest via WhatsApp. I was able to ask all my questions. Last Friday, I arrived in Istanbul on a flight I booked myself. Before departure, I received a video via WhatsApp showing where I would meet the driver. Everything worked perfectly. I was driven directly to the hotel in a V-Class vehicle – just me 🙂 I received further details about the transplant and the procedure via WhatsApp.
The next day, I was picked up at 7:15 a.m. I noticed that all trips between the clinic, airport and hotel were always private – I felt like a VIP. When I arrived at the clinic, my supervisor and translator were already waiting for me outside. After a short preliminary discussion, the doctor arrived. He examined me and gave the go-ahead for the hair transplant.
During the transplant, four people were with me at all times. They worked hand in hand. First, the donor site was anaesthetised. The anaesthetic injections only hurt for the first 40-50 seconds. After that, the anaesthetic takes effect. You don't feel anything on your head. I hadn't expected that. No pain. The hair was removed from the donor area. Then the recipient area on the head was anaesthetised. Again, there was only pain for the first 40-50 seconds, then nothing.
The pain is comparable to an anaesthetic injection at the dentist. Not very pleasant, but easy to bear.
I fell asleep three times while the hair was being inserted. 😀 You simply don't feel anything when the hair is being inserted. After the transplant, I had a bandage put around my head. Then I was given a warm meal. The assistant and translator were at my side the whole time. Everything was perfectly coordinated. After the meal, I was given medication and instructions on how to take it.
After that, I went to the hotel. I didn't sleep well the first night. That's probably normal. The next day, the bandage was removed at the clinic and my hair was washed.
Immediately (in addition to the personal instructions), I received videos via WhatsApp showing me how to wash my hair and take the medication. It's impossible to get it wrong. It's foolproof.
Now you wash your hair yourself every morning for 10 days until the so-called scabs fall off. I'm on my fourth day.

I'm still in Istanbul for a few days. I asked Hermest if the clinic could wash my hair on two days to be on the safe side. I immediately received a message saying that this was possible without any problems and free of charge. Simply great! Hermest simply asked me to write down my own experiences here. That's why I'm writing this text 🙂

First, the staff is EXTREMELY EXCELLENT, professional, and suuuuuper friendly 🤗 they treated me like I was family and made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout the entire procedure. During the anasthesia part of the procedure, Beko (my care coordinator), literally let me hold his hand. I can't express with words the love and respect I feel for the entire team. Another thing that made me feel more relaxed is the fact that Dr. Murat is a lifelong cardiologist and the procedure takes place at a hospital. These folks value safety and make it their number 1 priority. They won't just pressure you into getting the procedure done. They also won't extract the maximum number of grafts because they don't want to ruin your donor area and give you an unnatural hairline that will make you look foolish in the end. I'm incredibly happy with my results, by the grace of God. Sometimes I'll catch my wife looking at my hairline with awe and amazement - the results look that amazing!! I'm 7 months post procedure and the transplanted follicles keep densifying and the hair keeps growing. At month 3/4 you'll experience shock loss and you will 1,000% feel disheartened - this is totally normal. Trust me when I say that if you take care of your health (proper nutrition, exercise, and rigorous scalp massages EVERY SINGLE DAY) then you'll start to see beautiful results coming in around month 5/6. You'll get there! It's also important to take caution during the first 6 months with keeping your entire scalp protected from the sun. Most important, it's critical to communicate with and LISTEN to your care coordinator's specific instructions. I love that Hermest follows up every month for the first year and asks for photos and provides step-by-step instructions on what to do. Please listen to what they say - it's part of the healing and recovery process. I would recommend Hermest to anyone who is thinking about a hair transplant. You will love the team and you'll love your results ❤️

Sehr professionelle Klinik, man wird rund um die Uhr betreut, man kann alle Fragen in einer WhatsApp Gruppe stellen, insgesamt angenehme Atmosphäre, Unterbringung in einem 4* Hotel, alle Transporte in Istanbul sind für einen organisiert. Man wird ausführlich beraten, es wird einem jeder Schritt ausführlich erklärt. Preislich fair. Gute Ärzte. Die Lokalanästhesie ist bekanntlich bei der Applikation kurz schmerzhaft (ähnlich zum Zahnarztbesuch). Man kann eine Beruhigungstablette bekommen netterweise. Angstpatienten oder empfindliche Personen sollten sich bzgl. einer möglichen Sedierung beraten lassen. Ich brauchte das nicht. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich sehr gut geworden und hat sich gelohnt, obwohl ich ausgeprägten Haarausfall hatte. Insbesondere nachdem ich neben der üblichen Pflege und den Biotin/Zink/Selen Tabletten zusätzlich noch Magnesium, Calcium, Vitamin B1, B6, B12, D3/C,E, Folsäure , Pantothensäure (=die grünen und blauen Brausetabletten von DocMorris bei Rewe) und Omega 3 genommen habe. Das war nochmals ein Wachstumsschub für das Implantat. Man muss dazusagen, dass ich einen stressigen Job habe und leider nicht immer Zeit habe für eine gesunde Ernährung. Bevor ich das falsche esse, esse ich lieber später etwas vernünftiges. Ich bin strikter Nichtraucher. Zigaretten sind bekanntlich Gift für die Gefäße, die die Haare ernähren und auch für den Geldbeutel und die Mitmenschen in der Umgebung. Das ganze Team geht sehr nett mit seinen Patienten um. Besonders Burcu und Selda haben sehr viel geholfen. Volle Empfehlung.

Id like to thank the team at Hermest, I had a Saffire FUE transplant in June 2024 and wanted to wait to see the full results before reviewing- so here it is.
- I researched a lot before selecting the clinic, and the reason I chose Hermest was their honesty; they politely declined to promise a specific number of grafts without assessing the donor area in person, this made real sense to me- while other clinics were promising "4000 grafts for XXX price" Hermest were quite clear that it wasn't actually rational to determine a number of grafts without looking at the donor area, because too many extractions in a limited donor area will cause ugly scarring.
- The accommodation/transport package they offer was fine, the hotel, transport, meals, all good, no issues there.
- The procedure itself was straightforward, theres only one painful part which is the injections of anaesthetic in the scalp - momentarily painful, the rest of the procedure is a kind of numb, odd sensation.
-Throughout the procedure and post op process the Hermest staff were amazing, flawless in fact.
- Post op is a bit surreal, the scabbing process and gradual dissolving of the scabs. There is also a lot of scalp numbness, with 8000 tiny incisions made in your scalp, almost every nerve is in your scalp severed, it takes months to recover from the numbness of this, but full sensitivity of the scalp has returned after 9 months or so.
- The first two weeks is pretty awkward, i broke all the rules myself, i did heavy labour (moving house) just days afterwards, I wore hats sometimes just to go into shops etc, I didnt use any of the products they gave me, or buy the 6 month packs- I found it quite hard to just rest and recover - but there seem to have been no consequences for these misbehaviours.
- The results after 9 months are mindblowing, I have the fullest head of hair that I've had in more than a decade, its glorious, I almost cant believe this is possible, and that it was so much more affordable in Istanbul than here at home in the UK or Australia.

Dies war meine zweite Haartransplantation (diesmal Barttransplantation). Sehr gute Beratung und Service im Vorfeld sowie auch während der Behandlung, und auch die Behandlung selbst war hervorragend - absolut empfehlenswert!

Update: Nach etwas mehr als einem halben Jahr wächst der Bart wie gewünscht und ich bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Hermes prüft in regelmäßigen Abständen den Verlauf und gibt wertvolle Tips um die Heilung bzw. den Fortschritt in die richtige Richtung zu lenken - hervorragender Support auch nach der Behandlung!

Good experience at Hermest from initial hair transplant candidate evaluation to trip to Hermest site in Turkey for procedure. Everything went smoothly as promised. Also, their follow-ups post procedure is excellent. Especially POC Sedef who is very knowledgeable and patient in addresisng your questions/concerns. 4* review because my only cornern so far has been some shock loss in donor sites that have yet to start recovering. I was told that it takes 3 months post-procedure before seeing any shock loss recovery. It's been over 4 months now and no recovery yet.
