The clinic gave a nice hotel for 2 nights of stay for free. They included a personal shuttle driver. That will take you 1 of 3 places: (The airport, the hotel, or the clinic). Which is also free.

Now to talk about the consultation, I must say the nerves I had going into the clinic that day. Settled down as the employees are very nice and friendly. They speak English well enough where you understand what they’re saying. Now it’s very early, within less than a month of me posting this since the procedure but I have to say the directions and care steps they give you to make sure the procedure stays healthy after you leave is very informative, and they do check-in with you 14 times I believe for the first year after your hair transplant. To make sure that everything looks healthy and you’re not missing any steps.

Travelled to Istanbul to the Hermest clinic for a hair transplant in August, since then I have a full head of hair again and frequent check ups from the hermest team ensuring everything is going to plan and offering advice and instructions when needed. 5 star service from start to finish would absolutely recommend to anybody considering making the trip!

After researching many hair transplant clinics in Istanbul, I finally chose Harmest and I’m very happy that I did.

What convinced me to choose Harmest was their professionalism and concern for my health. When I first contacted them, they asked detailed questions about my medical conditions and the medications I take. Since I do have some health issues, they consulted their specialists and asked me to do several tests before confirming the procedure. None of the other clinics I contacted showed this level of care, and that really built my trust.

When I arrived at the clinic, I immediately felt comfortable. My interpreter, Aysegul, was incredibly kind and supportive. Being alone in a foreign country could have felt stressful, but thanks to her and the rest of the team, I felt completely at ease. Everyone I interacted with was professional, gentle, and caring.

It has now been 6 months since my procedure, and I am happy with the progress. Yanur from the Harmest team has been very kind and attentive during these months, regularly checking in with me and asking for photos of my scalp to monitor the results. I really appreciate that they don’t forget about you after the procedure — they continue to monitor your progress and stay in touch. This builds real trust.

As they explained, the transplanted hair initially falls out, which can be worrying if you don’t know it’s normal. But after 6 months I can clearly see new hair growth and improved density. People around me have started noticing the difference, and I honestly feel like I look younger now 😜. My donor area also healed very well and still looks dense.

Another advantage was the price. Compared to other highly rated clinics I consulted, Harmest provides a premium level of service at a reasonable cost. I also benefited from their summer discount, which made it even more affordable.

Meine HT ist nun 10 Tage her und ich habe mich im gesamten Prozess bei Hermest sehr wohl gefühlt. Angefangen von der Betreuung im Vorfeld, bei welcher man gut aufgeklärt wird, bis hin zur Nachbetreuung, bei welcher ein Berater in regelmäßigen Abständen nach dem Status fragt und anhand Bildern den Heilungsverlauf beurteilt. Die OP selbst verlief soweit ich das beurteilen kann normal und die Organisation drum herum berief absolut reibungslos. Langzeitergebnisse kann ich natürlich noch nicht beurteilen, der erste Eindruck nach 10 Tagen ist aber ein vielversprechender.

I recently had my hair transplant procedure with Hermest and overall my experience was very positive. I would rate the clinic 4/5.

The procedure itself went very well. The clinic environment was clean, organized, and professional, which made the entire process comfortable. The medical team was attentive and supportive throughout the procedure.

A special thanks to the medical team members Celal, Baris, and Mahir for their professionalism and care. They were helpful, explained the steps clearly and made sure everything went smoothly during the treatment.

The team also provided food on the day of the procedure, which was thoughtful and convenient since the process takes several hours.

One thing worth mentioning for future patients: after the procedure there can be some leaking from the donor area at the back of the head. The clinic team handled this well and provided a pillow cover to manage the leakage, which was helpful and showed they are prepared for post-procedure care.

Cons:

The hotel arranged by the clinic was Selectum City, which is advertised as a 5-star hotel. However, the cleanliness did not fully meet expectations, especially the carpets which did not appear to be in good condition. While the stay was manageable, it did not match what one would normally expect from a five-star property.

Another downside was related to the drop-off service. Since the accommodation provided by the clinic was quite far from the main attractions, I decided to leave the hotel and stay closer to the city center for the remainder of my trip. Although my airport drop-off service had already been paid for, the transport team refused to pick me up from the new hotel and insisted that I return to the original hotel they had arranged.

Because it was a football match day, the city had heavy traffic. I had to travel 12–15 km back to the original hotel location just for pickup, which caused significant delays. Eventually, due to the inconvenience and distance, I had to take a taxi to the airport myself, which cost over $100, especially since the airport is about 50 km away from the Istanbul city area and even farther from where the accommodation was located.

Overall, Hermest clinic provides a good medical experience with a professional team, but the accommodation quality and transportation flexibility could definitely be improved.

Ich bin mit wie wahrscheinlich die meisten sehr aufgeregt gewesen und habe mich gefragt, ob es die richtige Entscheidung war. Sowohl am Tag der OP als auch an den Tagen unmittelbar davor und danach.
Sechs Monate später bin ich auf jeden Fall mit der Entscheidung zufrieden. Alle Personen bei Hermest sind sehr freundlich und helfen einem bei allen Fragen die man hat.
Die Klinik ist sehr sauber. Es gibt ein Beratungsgespräch mit einer Ärztin. Der Eingriff selbst wird teilweise von der Ärztin, aber hauptsächlich von zwei Technikern durchgeführt.
Ich wurde in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel untergebracht, das ebenfalls sehr schön war.

Hermest was very honest with me in telling me my bald region is too large and my donor region is too small to enable a result I could be happy with. I very much appreciate their honesty. Not all clinics I contacted were so honest and instead tried to quickly sell me a package.

You can tell they genuinely care about their patients, not just getting the job done.

I was extremely nervous about the anaesthetic part, but the team could not have been more reassuring. They talked me through each step, kept checking that I was okay, and honestly after a few minutes it wasn’t painful at all. My vitals were monitored constantly by the doctor, which really helped me relax and trust the process.

The clinic itself is spotless and modern. A specialist carefully assessed my donor area and drew the new hairline, taking plenty of time to make sure it suited my head shape and would give the best result. The procedure went smoothly — they transplanted 2,850 grafts to rebuild my receding hairline, and I never once felt rushed.

Afterward, I was sent home with antibiotics, steroids, and blood thinners to support healing, along with clear aftercare instructions. The whole recovery has been smooth so far. I really did my research on quite a few clinics in Istanbul and I am so glad I went with Hermest clinic! Everything was smooth from transportation to the hotel which was beautiful and clean. The clinic was very nice and clean and that’s the first step to peace of mind! Though I will most likely need a second transplant to finish the job I admire their honesty and safety protocols for not over harvesting my donor area as once that hair is removed, it’s gone forever. So I appreciate their approach to take as many grafts as possible without it showing as one of my aesthetic goals was for this procedure to look as dense, yet as natural as possible and I am 2 weeks post op but I feel like I’m on my way to being very, very happy with the results. They worked on my crown and mid scalp. Next time will be my hairline and any fill ins needed. I definitely recommend this clinic to you for any of your hair transplant needs! Nachdem ich ausführlich über die Transplantation unterwiesen wurde, wurde mit der Operation begonnen. Hierfür wurde mit Spritzen eine lokale Betäubung vorgenommen. Diese sorgen dafür das man während der gesamten Behandlung nichts spürt. In meine Fall hat die Operation etwa sechs Stunden gedauert. Anschließend ging es zurück ins Hotel.

Am nächsten morgen wurde dann in der Klinik der Verband entfernt und der Transplantierte-Bereich / Spender-Bereich gewaschen. Nachdem man ausführlich über die postoperative Behandlung aufgeklärt wurde, erfolgte der Transport zum Flughafen.

Ich bin mit meiner Behandlung bei Hermest höchst zufrieden und würde sie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Of course, I was a bit nervous before the procedure, but everything happened exactly the way it was explained to me beforehand. The surgery itself was almost painless and much less uncomfortable than I expected.

At first, I was a little skeptical, especially coming all the way from California to Turkey on the other side of the world. Everything was done through WhatsApp. I never spoke to anyone on the phone, only through text, but they were very professional and always answered my questions.

When we arrived at the airport, someone was already there waiting for us. They took us to a 5-star Marriott hotel. The hotel stay and transportation were all included with no extra cost. Everyone was very nice and made us feel comfortable.

They took us back and forth to the clinic, and my procedure went very smooth. My translator Aysegul made everything easy and helped me understand every step.

The whole process took one day. Even though I don’t like needles, I was in and out in about six hours. Very fast and well organized.
